This year, Tajikistan has completed trade with 111 countries. During this period, Tajikistan exported minerals and concentrates worth $ 161.6 million, cotton fiber - $ 74.3 million, aluminum - $ 72.6 million, cement - $ 27.0 million, cotton yarn - $ 24, $ 8 million and fruits and vegetables - $ 12.2 million. The information was announced  by the head of the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Karimzoda to journalists at a press conference on July 30 in Dushanbe.

He noted that of the total export volume, the neighboring countries account for 23.0 percent or $ 240.1 million, and non-CIS countries - 77.0 percent or $ 808.4 million. The total volume of exports is: Switzerland - 50.9%, Kazakhstan - 15.4%, Turkey - 11.1%, China - 4.5%, Uzbekistan - 4.3%, Belgium - 3.5% and Afghanistan - 3 , 2%.

In the first six months of 2021, compared to the same period last year, exports to Italy decreased by $ 1.5 million, to Kyrgyzstan - by $ 0.6 million, to Latvia - by $ 2.6 million, to Vietnam - by $ 1. $ 4 million, this index to Kazakhstan increased by $ 76.2 million, to China - $ 30.3 million, to Belgium - by $ 23.3 million, to Turkey - by $ 12.3 million, to Uzbekistan - by $ 16 , $ 7 million, to Russia - $ 11.0 million, to the United Arab Emirates - $ 5.4 million and Pakistan - $ 2.0 million.

During the same period, 95 items of goods were exported to Tajikistan, including oil products for $ 145.7 million, wheat for $ 108.2 million, liquefied natural gas for $ 103.8 million and vehicles for $ 66.7 million. alumina - $ 35.7 million, vegetable oil - $ 52.9 million, lumber - $ 33.2 million, sugar - $ 41.4 million, fertilizers - $ 29.0 million, fruits and vegetables - $ 23.9 million ...

Of the total import volume, 60.0% or USD 1,122.4 million falls on the CIS countries, and 40.0% or USD 747.8 million - to non-CIS countries. The main imported goods by percentage are: Russia - 26.5%, Kazakhstan - 21.3%, China - 17.2%, Uzbekistan - 9.2%, Turkey - 3.7%, Germany - 3.1%. India - 3.5%, Japan - 2.2%, Republic of Korea - 1.2%, USA - 1.2%, Iran - 1.4% and Belarus - 1.0%.

Compared to the same period last year, imports from Belarus exceeded $ 1.3 million, from Kyrgyzstan - $ 3.9 million, from Ukraine - $ 1.2 million, from Qatar - $ 1.0 million and the United States - $ 11.8 million. dollars. As a result of the implementation by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of measures to industrialize production sectors and support domestic producers, the production of a number of goods within the republic has increased, and the import of these types of goods from abroad is gradually decreasing.
