For many years since the revival of the carpet industry, carpet manufacturers are united in the Association " CIS Carpets", which in 1998 by the Resolution of the Constituent Assembly was transformed into the Transnational Corporation " CIS Carpets ", which is presently transformed into a Non-commercial Partnership the International Integration Carpet Syndicate, which is meant for jointly solution of emerging problems of the industry: supplies of raw materials, consumables; introduction of new technology; decrease in prices for raw materials, materials, transportation costs, energy. Over the period from September 1994 to 1995 which were the most difficult years distinguished with the decline in production, the disruption of economic ties, customs barriers, impossibility of making payments, lack of raw materials and material resources, the general director of OJSC "Kayrakkum Carpets " Azimov Yahyo Nuriddinovich was elected as a President of the Association of Carpet Enterprises of the CIS.
