The VI International Trade Fair "Sughd-2019" began its work on June 21, 2019 in Khujand. It is held on the initiative of the Executive body of state power of the Sughd region and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd region in cooperation with development partners.

“Over 150 companies from various countries of the world represent various products at the exhibition,” the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sughd reported.

The fair is attended by producers and processors of agricultural products, representatives of various industries from Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, China, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Belarus and the countries of the European Union.

The 6th International Trade Fair "Sughd-2019" provides new opportunities for business expansion and implementation through the exchange of professional experience and investment project presentations. The international trade fair "Sughd-2019" promises to serve as a place where in a business and comfortable environment you can discuss the terms of cooperation, enter into lucrative contracts and meet with partners and suppliers.

It should be noted that every year for six years the purpose of this event is to support export potential, entrepreneurial activity in the Sughd region, to establish effective cooperation with distant and near foreign countries, to attract investments and to import modern technologies. The international trade fair "Sughd-2019" is a reliable and important springboard for achieving the set economic objectives, as well as a demonstrative platform for the potential of the participating countries, their material and intellectual resources.

During the panel sessions there was a presentation on the topic: "Opportunities for manufacturers through the B2B portal."

As part of the fair, it is planned to hold a forum, a conference and an exhibition to enable both Tajik and foreign entrepreneurs to exhibit their goods.

The international trade fair "Sughd-2018" was held in July last year. The products of more than 150 companies from different cities of the Republic of Tatarstan were presented there. The event was attended by representatives not only of various regions of Tajikistan, but also entrepreneurs from near and far abroad, interested in expanding trade relations. Following the results of the Sugd-2018 fair in Khujand, about 100 contracts, memorandums and agreements were signed.
