Based on directions and orders of the Founder of peace and national unity, Leader of Nation,  President of the Republic of Tajikistan H. E. Emomali Rahmon for the implementation of measures aimed at ensuring sustainable economic development of the country, raising the welfare of the people, improvement of business and investment environment, on June 14, 2019 in Kulob city of Khatlon region has been hosted by the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management in collaboration with executive authority of Khatlon region and Kulob city International Investment Forum.

In the framework of the Forum was organized exhibition of products and goods of the local producers, models of folk crafts presented to the forum participants.

The Forum was attended by a wide range of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and investors, government officials, representatives of foreign compatriots, specialists, experts, and representatives of mass media.

In the official part of the Forum which was conducted under the leadership of the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management Hamralizoda Farrukh Mahmud, also Assistant of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Issues Ashurboy Solehzoda,  Deputy Chairman of the Khatlon Region Rajabali Rajabov, Chairman of Kulob city of Khatlon region Inoyatzoda Bahrom, Embassy of the United States of America in the Republic of Tajikistan John Mark Pommersheim, Ambassador of the Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz Muhammad al-Badi, Executive Director of the Islamic Development Corporation Ayman Amin Sejini, President of "Tibet-Everest" company Huan Tzian Zhung and Deputy Chairmen of Balkh province of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan attended and gave a speach.

In the second half of the day, Forum was continued in four panels on the themes of "Roads and methods of improvement of state policy on investment and entrepreneurship in the aim of industrial and innovative development of national economy", "Free Economic Zones as an accelerating industrialization of the Republic of Tajikistan", "Opportunities for entrepreneurship development in tourism section historical and cultural sites and attraction of investment for tourism infrastructure", "Opportunities for export and processing of agricultural products with modern technology"continued. 

Within the framework of the Forum, a number of bilateral documents, including the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation f (ITFC), "Investment Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and LLC "Kashi Sinyiy Dadi Mainging ", Memorandum on implementation of joint investment projects with the company on resources of "Tibet-Everest", "Agreement on cooperation between the executive authority of Kulob city of Khatlon region and LLC "Oriyon-Rustam" on the construction and activation of the production of food products enterprise and "Memorandum of Understandings on Cooperation between the Executive authority in Khatlon region and Balkh province of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan ware signed.
