In June 7 2019, presentation of investment opportunities in Tajikistan held at the International Chamber of Commerce in Geneva. In above mentioned event the Director General of SUE “Tajinvest” distinguished Khurshed Mirzo and distinguished Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Jamshed Khamidov had participated. The presentation from the Swiss side was attended by the heads of various companies involved in a wide range of businesses, among which was Deputy Director of the International Chamber of Commerce in Geneva Mr. Jean-Paul Periat, CEO of DK Management Mr. David Graber, Director of Business Training for women Tatiana Knoll, Deputy Director of Union of Chamber of Commerce of Swiss and CIS countries Mrs. Marina Werbitzky, Managing Director of “La Fontain Finance SA” Mr. Yueh Cho. The Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tajinvest", Mr.Khurshed Mirzo, introduced the participants of the meeting with the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan during the years of independence, business opportunities and a favorable investment climate in the country. Also, the participants were handed out brochures and magazines about investment opportunities in Tajikistan. During the meeting to the question of the participants, appropriate and comprehensive answers were provided.
As a result of the meeting, representatives of Swiss business circles expressed their desire to visit Tajikistan to learn more about the investment opportunities and establish business contacts with Tajik partners.
